Free Ship Card For Sc And St Category Students:
The Government of India has implemented the Government of India Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for students belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities. Under this scheme, students who wish to get admission in self-governing institutions (private colleges or universities) and those who have got admission can get admission in Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes through “Free Ship Card” without paying any fee.
About Scheduled Caste Students
Resolution No. of the Tribal Development Department dated 11/06/2009: A resolution has been passed by the Government of India to exempt the Scheduled Caste students studying in self-financed colleges in Sakak / 202008 / N.B.3 / G from tuition fees. In which app. Provision has been made that income limit will not be applicable for Jana Jati students.
Resolution No. of the Education Department dated 19/06/2018: In Ajj / 2018/21 / B-1, a resolution has been passed to give free sheep card to the students of Scheduled Tribes in Post Matric Scholarship. In which Rs. The standard of income limit up to 2.50 lakh has been fixed. Letter No. of the Commissioner (AV) dated 26/07/2018 As the tuition fee is being paid in full to the girls with higher income in 314/512/18/18, a proposal has been made to the Commissioner (AV) to give them a free ship card.

Thus, the students have to apply for a free ship card in the social welfare department of their district. He can then get a free ship card and get admission in a private college or university as he deems necessary. Thus, those students can get admission in independent institutions by presenting free ship card and waiving their payable fees.
FREESHIP / SCHOLARSHIP FOR SC, ST, NT, DT , SBC & OBC STUDENTS The candidates who want to claim Scholarship / Free ship should submit the following documents at the time of admission. PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING An application for scholarship should comprise.
( 1 ) One copy of the application for scholarship in the prescribed form (separate Application forms have been prescribed for renewal scholarship)
( 2 ) One copy of the passport size photograph with signature of the candidate thereon (for fresh scholarship)
( 3 ) One attested copy of certificates, Diploma, Degree etc in respect of all examinations passed.
( 4 ) One photocopy of Caste certificate :- Original Caste certificate issued and duly signed by an authorized Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar.
( 5 ) An Income declaration by the parents/guardians/own stating definite income from all sources of last year i. e. 2006-2007.
(6) Non Creamy layer Certificate for VJ/ NT/ OBC/SBC
(7) Gap Certificate if there is gap in education.
(8) A receipt in acknowledgement of the scholarship in the previous year on the form attached to the application only duly countersigned by the Head of the Institution concerned, if the application was in receipt of a scholarship under this scheme in the preceding year.
( 9) Application complete in all respects shall be submitted to the Head of the Institution being attended or last attended by the candidates and shall be addressed to an officer specified for this purpose by the Government of State/Union Territory to which the student belong in accordance with the instructions issued by them form time to time.
( 10 ) Incomplete applications or applications received after the prescribed date will not be considered.
